Peak Fall Foliage in Washington State

1.) Whidbey Island Scenic Byway 

Bigleaf Maples and Garry Oaks show off in beautiful reds, oranges, and yellows in contrast to the green Evergreen trees. Add in the beauty of the sound, and this is the top spot to see the fall changes in WA State!

2.) Mount Rainier National Park

At Mt Rainier, expect to see Maples, Larch and Huckleberry Bushes. With over 260 miles of trails to explore, there will be fall beauty every steps of the way. 

3.) Hoh Rainforest in the Olympic National Park

Fun fact, the Olympic National Park is home to the biggest temperate rainforest in the nation. Take the 17+ mile Hoh River Trail for a totally unique fall experience- the colors of fall rain forest trees set against the blue of the ocean.
